Xbox 360 owners who haven’t yet picked up Grand Theft Auto V can now get their hands on the popular open world game as the Rockstar Games title is part of this week’s Xbox Live store sale. Microsoft’s Larry Hyrb, better known to gamers as Major Nelson, announced on Feb 4 that the latest installment of GTA will be on sale for $40.19 through the remainder of the week.
There are, however, a couple of stipulations to being able to get the game at a 33% off discount. First, the sale only applies to digital versions of Grand Theft Auto V which are purchased from Microsoft’s Games on Demand service. It’s also important to note that users must be Xbox Live Gold members in order to qualify for the savings.
Additionally, GTA IV and all of its DLC packss are also on sale for half price this week only. This includes the base game and The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and Damned add-ons.
Grand Theft Auto V is out now only on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. In addition to giving players the option to switch between three different protagonists in the game’s single-player campaign, gamers can also log onto the title’s multiplayer servers as access to GTA Online as added in a free update shortly after launch.
