Rockstar Games provided several updates in regards the connection issues that customers may be experiencing while playing “Grand Theft Auto Online” on the Playstation 3 system. According to a few updates from Rockstar Support on Oct. 5, a representative from the company acknowledged that servers were down for a period of time. The development team has been working with Sony to try to stabilize the connection for the multiplayer mode as soon as possible. GTA Online on PS3 has been down for part of today and we have been working with Sony to stabilize connection on that platform as quickly as possible.
In the second update, the representative stated that the connections to “Grand Theft Auto Online” have been improved. However, a few lingering network issues are still occurring. The development team promised that players will be able to see the improvements soon. You can take a look at the comments below:

Rockstar Games recently released the 1.02 patch for “GTA 5” on the Playstation 3. Although the title update promises to fix some of the connectivity issues, it appears that players are still having a hard time trying to login and play “Grand Theft Auto Online.”
“GTA 5” has been available for Sony’s current-generation console since Sept. 17. The video game also launched for the Xbox 360 system on the same day.
