Those who prefer to do GTA Online’s missions from contacts such as Ron and Gerald instead of deathmatches and races will be pleased to discover that Rockstar Games has decided to add the story-based missions to the game’s job vote screen. The developer revealed the upcoming change via the Rockstar Support site on Oct 17. There is currently no known date set for when the change will happen, but the decision was made purely off of fan feedback that the creator’s of Grand Theft Auto V have received thus far.
After playing any mission in GTA Online, gamers will be taken to a job select screen which allows those who played the previous mission to vote on what they want to do next. At this time, these jobs found on the select screen included deathmatches, survival waves, races, parachute jumps, and more. Missions received from in-game contacts like Simeon currently can’t be selected via the job vote screen. This, however, will soon change, as a future update will add all missions to the vote screen.
Grand Theft Auto V is out now on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Those who own the game may also now connect to the game’s multiplayer mode, GTA Online.
