Rockstar Games have released a new update for GTA 5 which addresses the game’s ongoing infinite money glitch found in the online multiplayer mode, GTA Online. According to a report by TheGTABase from Dec. 30, this new update is a stealth patch and the fixes will automatically occur upon starting GTA Online.

The site continues to note that this isn’t a GTA 5 1.09 update, as that would require a download to take place. Instead, this is a stealth patch made for GTA Online that addresses and fixes the recent influx of players modifying game lobbies for infinite money and other in-game glitches.

Earlier this week, Rockstar announced intentions of releasing a new update that would forever rid GTA Online from infinite money glitches. You can find their full comment below:

In regards to reports of hacking and cheating in Grand Theft Auto Online, we are working on a fix that will remove any GTA$ gained through these blatant exploits, as well as prevent this from happening in the future. We'll also be taking appropriate measures very soon to punish anyone that we've discovered manipulating GTA Online in this manner (as we've stated previously, players who have received large sums of GTA$ but not engaged in any game manipulating through exploits can rest assured knowing they have nothing to fear).

The GTA Online stealth update is currently available for PS3 and Xbox 360.

If you are still able to perform infinite money glitches, feel free to let us know.
