“GTA Online” is here! Launched today, Tuesday, October 1, many excited gamers are logging on for a fresh GTA experience. Only problem is all the traffic is creating a bit of a jam.
Rockstar warned gamers that there would be some technical difficulties during “GTA Online”’s launch. The company scrambled to buy up more server space to accommodate the large influx of traffic expected for the recently launched game but just wasn't able to keep up with the early demand. Those that were lucky enough to get into a GTA server were probably experiencing some issues as well.
Server issues are locking some users out of the game while those inside are experiencing glitches and lag. But you can’t say they didn't warn you. In time these issues are likely to be all cleaned up.
For those stuck outside, waiting to get into “GTA Online” there’s still plenty of “GTA V” content to explore. Kotaku has highlighted the daring and skillful car chases of YouTuber and GTA driver extraordinaire Rechyyy. Check out the videos of his amazing exploits, explore those nooks and crannies of Los Santos you've never seen before and keep waiting. Eventually we’ll all be able to get on and play.
