A new update has been posted by Rockstar Games regarding several promised contents in the recently-launched “GTA Online” mode for “GTA 5” on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. According to a report from The Official Xbox Magazine on Oct. 22, the company provided a statement addressing several inquiries regarding the multiplayer mode of the open-world action-adventure video game.
A representative stated that fans should know more about the release dates regarding the first of two stimulus packages as well as the upcoming DLC offerings (the beach bum pack, content creator and heists were mentioned) later this week. You can find screenshots from “GTA 5” and “GTA Online” in the slideshow near the top of this article and the comments from the Rockstar Games spokesperson below (courtesy of The Official Xbox Magazine):
We thank you for your understanding and patience and please stay tuned this week for more information including timing of the first GTA$ Stimulus Package deposit and the forthcoming new content such as the Beach Bum Pack, Content Creator and Heists.
The beach bum pack, content creator and heists were originally scheduled to launch within the first few weeks of the launch of “GTA Online.” The addition of a capture-the-flag mode was also promised although it was not mentioned in the above statement from the company.
The stimulus packages are being implemented to compensate players that experienced the connection problems and lost progress issues during the first month of playing the multiplayer mode of “GTA 5.” To be qualified for the automatic deposit, you have to log into “GTA Online” sometime during this month.
