Despite the fact that information regarding multiplayer heists within GTA Online was originally reported to become available by this point, Rockstar Games confirmed to fans on Friday that details surrounding the online robberies now won’t be released until sometime during the coming week.
While the developer made good on their goal to release launch windows for Grand Theft Auto V’s Beach Bum Pack and the content creator for GTA Online during Friday’s update on the game, players were given no concrete details for multiplayer heists except the fact that Rockstar Games plans to update gamers on their progress soon.
Prior to the release of GTA Online on Oct 1, the developer planned to release all of the discussed content within a matter of weeks. However, issues with the online multiplayer mode have caused delays in the release schedule. With the content creator and the game’s first DLC add-on now given adjusted launch windows, it may be cause for concern that GTA Online’s heists haven’t also been given a new time frame for release. This could specify that work on the multiplayer heists may not be as far along as originally expected. Of course, Rockstar Games is one of the industries best at being able to keep secrets so players will simply have to wait for the developer to divulge more information to know.
Grand Theft Auto V is out now on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
