‘GTA Online’ duplicate car glitch discovered post ‘GTA 5’ 1.09 patch

A new glitch has been discovered in GTA Online which allows users to not only duplicate cars, but their entire garage of vehicles. According to a report by GTA5Cheats from Jan. 21, players have found a new way to earn infinite cash by duplicating garages full of vehicles. Rockstar Games recently released patch 1.09 for GTA 5 to stop such exploits along with severe punishment to those caught cheating.

This most recent infinite money glitch allows players to transfer cars between characters, thus creating a duplicate collection of vehicles. Unlike other GTA Online glitches, this one requires the assistance of another player willing to cooperate.

With Rockstar issuing strict punishment for those caught cheating in GTA Online, not many people may be willing to participate in such activity.

The basics of the glitch entail having one player fill their garage with miscellaneous cars. They then switch to the character with the wanted cars, and have the second player come to their apartment to initiate the glitch by accessing a webpage via their mobile phone within the apartment.

Successfully completing this will have the cars of the garage duplicated. You can find more detailed instructions of the glitch on GTA5Cheats.

As mentioned earlier in the article, Rockstar Games is watching GTA Online for cheaters and will issue permanent bans to those exploiting the game.

GTA Online was released for PS3 and Xbox 360 in Oct. 2013. Grand Theft Auto 5 has sold more than 29 million copies worldwide since the title launch in Sept. 2013 on PS3 and Xbox 360.
