‘GTA Online’ capture creature, ‘GTA 5’ 1.12 patch and more details posted

More details have been posted regarding the latest patches in “Grand Theft Auto 5.” According to a report from NZ Gamer on April 9, an update for the content creature feature in “GTA Online” is now available. Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 users can download the file by launching “GTA 5” while be logged into the Playstation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace.

Players can now create capture jobs, which is a modified version of the classic capture the flag modes found in other shooter-based games. According to Game Arena, the participants can use various methods in order to prevent their loot from being taken from the opposition in “GTA Online.”

Rockstar Games also provided more details regarding the 1.12 patch for “GTA 5.” The new title update is designed to reward players more for completing certain tasks. Reputation points are now rewarded towards those who use the like of dislike functionality. The payouts for various “GTA Online” activities such as parachuting, racing, and Deathmatch battles were also increased in matches with less than four players.

Along with the new patch Rockstar Games is preparing to add multiplayer heists later this spring. New campaign DLC is also being planned for the single-player mode. Both “GTA 5” and “GTA Online” were developed mainly at the Rockstar North studio with additional support from other teams.

The open-world action-adventure video game was released in Europe, North America and other regions on Sept. 17, 2013. “GTA 5” is also rumored to be coming to the PC, PS4 and Xbox One gaming systems as multiple retailers are listing the ports with a possible June release. The new versions may potentially include enhanced graphics as well as a faster frame rate clip. The aforementioned DLC packs and patches should automatically be included in the PC, PS4 and Xbox One ports of “GTA 5.”
