Gamers who are looking for Grand Theft Auto V news on the weekend before the title’s release will undoubtedly find numerous leaks from those who have managed to receive the game early. It now seems that one of the larger culprits responsible for the broken street date is Amazon.com after GameIndustry.biz reported on Sep 15 that the online retailer has already sent out copies of the anticipated new installment of the open-world franchise.
Rockstar Games has already stated that they are indeed looking into to early sales due to the large amounts of GTA 5 leaks that continue to spring up online. It has also been reported that a number of physical retailers may decide to also break the game’s street date and decide to sale Grand Theft Auto V early in order to compete with the online outlet.
Grand Theft Auto V releases on this Tuesday, Sept 17, for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Players will take on the role of three switchable protagonists inside the game as they work together to pull off a series of high profile heist robberies across Los Santos and Blaine County.
