Rockstar Games has added several new jobs to the official playlist of Grand Theft Auto Vs online multiplayer mode. The additions were all created by the community using the title’s in-game mission creation tools and are available to play on both the Xbox 360 and PS3 regardless of which platform that they were originally published on. The developer confirmed on July 22 that every one of the new user-generated jobs were promoted due to the fact that they are all fan interpretations of missions that appeared within past Grand Theft Auto games.

Although the content was built by fans, the new jobs are now displayed alongside official creations from Rockstar Games in the playlist for GTA Online. The various player-created jobs were all inspired by events from past installments of the open-world crime series. The new playlist additions include recreations from missions that originally appeared in GTA IV, San Andreas, Vice City, GTA III and even Chinatown Wars.

Furthermore, Rockstar Games is seeking more user-generation content based upon classic Grand Theft Auto Missions. The developer extended a request to fans to try their hand at building their own jobs inspired by classic GTA titles to be possibly promoted in the future. Those who build a mission that honors previous entries from the franchise are asked to tag their creations with #Throwback when adding their content to the Rockstar Social Club so that it can be easily located.

Grand Theft Auto V is out now on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Two weeks after the game’s initial launch last September, Rockstar Games released a free title update that gave players access to the title’s online servers. GTA Online allows gamers to create their own online persona to play and level alongside others. GTA V will receive a remastered re-release on the Xbox One and PS4 that will feature improved textures, resolution and frame-rate.
