Karl Slatoff has provided some details in regards to his company’s plans for the PS4 and Xbox One. According to a report by Video Gamer on Oct. 30, the president of Take-Two Interactive told investors during a conference call that several of it subsidiaries are currently working on next-generation video games.
Karl Slatoff stated that the company has “more than 10 unique titles in our pipeline for next-generation consoles.” He also hinted that some of the projects are slated to come out by the end of the fiscal year that will end on March 31, 2015. Finally, the president of Take-Two Interactive teased that some of new titles will be revealed in the next several months. Take-Two Interactive operates under three publishing branches. 2K Games published games from “BioShock,” “Borderlands” and “XCOM” franchises while 2K Sports help distribute titles from the “NBA 2K” and “WWE 2K” series. Finally, the Rockstar Games subsidiary is responsible for the aforementioned “GTA 5” as well as the “Max Payne” and “Red Dead Redemption” video games.
A potential port of “the fifth main “Grand Theft Auto” installment to the PS4 and Xbox One could be one of the projects Take-Two Interactive could be working on. “GTA 5” has only been released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 so far.
