A representative from Rockstar Games, the company that published “GTA 5” for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, has reassured a fan that the company is still committed to patching and creating new DLC for the recently-released multiplatform video game. In an exchange from the comments section of the Rockstar Newswire on Nov. 12, a user accused the publisher on focusing on other elements (like releasing new artwork images and promoting fan creations) instead of trying to fix issues such as the lost cars and missing stimulus packages.
The Rockstar Games representative responded by stating that the development team is “working hard” in order to address these problems. The company will also keep fans posted regarding the release dates and other new details for the upcoming DLC products. You can take a look at a few screens from “GTA 5” in the slideshow near the top of this article and the statement below:
We are working hard to fix the issues you've mentioned and we will continue to keep you all updated on the latest info concerning new content, updates and DLC as soon as we have release dates and other details to confirm. This does not mean we will not support our fans who put a lot of time and effort into creating awesome art and photos or that we won't continue to release official GTAV Artwork. Please stay tuned and thanks.
The representative also left the following message when asked about the Beach Bum Pack DLC release date:
We'll have more info on the Beach Bum Pack and other future content soon, please be patient.
Rockstar Games recently gave out stimulus packages to qualified players. However, a few fans reported that they did not receive any compensation. The company is also dealing with ongoing issues regarding the lost of vehicles and other advancements.
“GTA 5” was published and distributed by Rockstar Games on Sept. 17. The Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 open-world action-adventure video game was developed by the Rockstar North studio from the United Kingdom.
