The individual also recommend that those who have already pre-ordered collector’s edition should check with their local stores in case of potential cancellations. You can check out the statement from the Rockstar Games representative on the comments section of the Rockstar Newswire website below:

Unfortunately, the Collector's Edition has now sold out in several territories, but such is the nature of releasing an edition with a limited amount of stock that some will be left disappointed. We suggest you check-in with your local store periodically as cancellations do occur sometimes.

The collector’s edition of “GTA 5” is priced at $149.99, which is $90 more than the price tag of the regular standalone game. The package includes a blueprint map, collectible steelbook, security deposit bag and Snapback Cap. It will also come with several digital extras such as an ability booster, garage, outfits, tattoos, vehicles, weapons and more.

In North America, customers can only purchase the collector’s edition of “GTA 5” at GameStop and the Rockstar Warehouse. The product will be released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms on Sept. 17, the same day as the standalone version of the video game.
