Rockstar Games posted a clarification regarding the dates for the latest round of new contents in the “Grand Theft Auto Online” mode of “GTA 5.” According to a statement posted in the comments section of the official Rockstar Newswire website on Dec. 24, a representative disclosed that the snowfall event will be occurring exactly on Christmas.
Furthermore, he also clarified that the holiday sale, special DLC gear and new Snapmatic filters should now be available. The representative went on to mention that fans asking about technical issues as well as other suggestions should air the grievances using the Rockstar Games Support Page and official “Grand Theft Auto Online” email address. You can find some screens of the new round of contents, as well as some shots from the “GTA 5” multiplayer mode, in the slideshow to the left of this article and the statements below:
- Hi all, for those asking, the snowfall in Los Santos is expected on Christmas Day, not today on Christmas Eve. The special gear and discounts and Snapmatic filters however should be available now.
- Any technical issues you may have with this or anything else, please as always refer or report them to http://support.rockstargames.com.
- Also a reminder - if you have suggestions to make for GTA Online, making them here in the comments section won't help them get taken into consideration, please send them via email to GTAOnline@rockstargames.com. That's the official place where our devs review player feedback and ideas.
Rockstar Games previously disclosed that the special DLC gear, as well as the holiday sale, should be ending on Jan. 5, 2014. The new clothing items feature various Christmas accessories in the form of elf jackets, snowman masks and more. The discounted in-game products include apartments, weapons and weapons.
“GTA 5,” which was released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on Sept. 17, is expected to be one of the most gifted video games for Christmas.
