Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto 5 sold an amazing 32.5 million copies in 2013, and yet there are still people waiting and hoping for the title to release on PS4, Xbox One, and, more importantly, for PC. According to a post on the NeoGAF forums from Feb. 1, a Czech Republic retailer has started to advertise a late spring release of GTA 5 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
SuperGamer.cz, the retailer in question, is currently taking pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto 5 on PC, Xbox One and PS4. Furthermore, the company lists a release date for each version with the title launching on Friday, June 13. A Friday release date isn’t uncommon for video games, though the June release date would place it as the same week as E3 2014.
Several online retailers have started to take pre-orders for GTA 5 on PC; meanwhile others have voiced intentions of starting pre-orders in the near future. Likewise, retailers including Amazon are expecting a PC version of Grand Theft Auto 5 during the early portion of 2014.
Many video game analysts expect Rockstar Games to release Grand Theft Auto 5 for PC in addition to PS4 and Xbox One sometime during the 2014 calendar year. Thus far, neither Take-Two nor Rockstar Games have announced intentions of bringing the wildly successful game to other platforms.
Rockstar Games released Grand Theft Auto 5 and GTA Online for PS3 and Xbox 360 in Sept. 2013, with GTA Online launching in Oct. 2013.
