The listing of “Grand Theft Auto 5” on PS4 has been discussed and explained by a representative at Worten. According to a report from NZ Gamer on March 5, the spokesperson for the retailer seemingly confirmed that “GTA 5” will indeed be ported to the next generation system.
Worten apparently got enough information of the rumored product to open up a pre-order page. Although Rockstar Games did not make any official announcements, retailers are usually one of the first groups to find out about the newest releases of video game products.
Along with Worten’s listing for the PS4 version of “GTA 5,” the PC and Xbox One iterations of the same title were also listed a Czech retailer called “SuperGamer.” The store mentioned that the ports are going to be released on June 13. The date falls on a Friday, which is the normal day of the week where a majority of video games are launched in Europe. In comparison, the North American region usually gets the same software products three days earlier on a Tuesday.
“GTA 5” has only been released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 so far. Despite the limited install base, the video game still sold more than 32.5 million units worldwide so far.
