An online retailer may have revealed Rockstar Games’ plans to port the upcoming multiplatform video game, “GTA 5,” to the PS4 and Xbox One. According to a report by Dual Shockers and NeoGAF on Sept. 11, Amazon Germany recently put up the pre-order pages for the next-generation versions of the latest “Grand Theft Auto” installment.
The covers feature the same artwork found on the PS3 and Xbox 360 iterations. The top right-hand corner of the PS4 and Xbox One features a logo that states the video game will be rendered in full 1080p for the next-generation platforms.
Another curios logo found in the PS4 and Xbox One box arts of “GTA 5” is the hard drive icon for the Xbox 360. Rockstar Games previously announced that select Xbox 360 users with less than 8 GB of storage space will either have to purchase a new hard drive or utilize an external storage option in order to play the open-world action-adventure video game on Microsoft’s current-generation console. You can check out the two box arts from Amazon Germany, as well as several screenshots from the video game, in the slideshow near the top of this article.
Rockstar Games is planning to release “GTA 5” only for the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms on Sept. 17. The PS4 would be launching approximately two months later on Nov. 15 while the Xbox One is expected to come out on Nov. 22.
