A leaked document may have hinted at potential plans for a new mission in the recently-launched Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 video game, “GTA 5.” According to a report by Gameranx on Sept. 30, a development log for the project was potentially leaked online.
One of the notes from the various development builds of “GTA 5” mentioned a mission involving a prison break. The Rockstar North studio was apparently having trouble with that particular section of the gameplay as the video game was crashing and hanging when a helicopter is being used. The leaked document also referred to the “Cops ‘N Crooks” match type from the “Grand Theft Auto Online” multiplayer mode.
The prison break mission could either be a part of the single-player campaign or the online multiplayer mode. The Rockstar North studio has not announced any plans for a single-player downloadable content expansion for “GTA 5.” The development team is currently focus on the aforementioned “Grand Theft Auto Online” as they promised to constantly update the online multiplayer mode with fixes to potential issues in addition to releasing new contents.
The development log stated that the production of “GTA 5” started back in 2009. After a long wait, including a delay from its spring release that was scheduled for early this year, the sequel finally came out for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on Sept. 17.
