Rockstar Games provided a statement in regards to several achievement and trophy glitches in the multiplayer mode of the current-generation video game, “GTA 5.” In a conversation from Twitter on Nov. 2, a fan complained that he wasn’t able to unlock the American Dream and Decorated achievements although he met the requirements.
The American Dream achievement and trophy requires the player to purchase an apartment, garage and insured vehicle. Some players are reportedly having trouble unlocking the feat since it does not register properties bought physically on location.
Another achievement and trophy that is apparently buggy in Decorated, which is supposed to unlock after earning 30 platinum awards. The in-game reward system compensates players for actions related to winning competitive matches, criminal activities, combat, vehicle, weapons and more.
Rockstar Games responded to the fan complaint by saying that the development team over at the Rockstar North studio is currently looking at several reports on the glitches. We are looking into some reports about that achievement.
The buggy achievements and trophies aren’t the only problems plaguing the multiplayer mode of “GTA 5.” Players are still losing their progress in “Grand Theft Auto Online” despite the open-world video game being patched several times over the past month. Rockstar Games will be releasing the 1.05 title update next week.
