Rockstar Games recently announced that the development team will be releasing a future “GTA 5” patch to address the “GTA Online” infinite cash hacks. According to a report from Gameranx on Dec. 30, players are confused as to how the company will handle removing the illegitimate money from the economy.

The upcoming “GTA 5” patch will supposedly remove the currency that was obtained by hackers by modifying the payout amounts in “GTA Online.” However, Rockstar Games did not clarify how the money that was spent to purchase products such as properties will be eradicated. Players may lose out on those purchases if the company chooses to take action.

Those who are afraid of the consequences should be able to contact the development team directly after receiving a huge amount of hacked money as a gift from a stranger. The support staff ought to help remove the illegitimate cash from the player’s account.

Rockstar Games did not announce the release date for the new patch. However, the development team recently launched a hot fix, which disabled all of the modified servers in the “GTA Online.” As a result, the hacking appears to be currently under control in the multiplayer mode of “GTA 5.”

Aside from the new patch, several new DLC packs are being planned for the open-world action-adventure video game. You can find some “GTA 5” screens in the slideshow to the left of this article.
