While anticipation builds for the latest installment to the “Grand Theft Auto” franchise, this being “GTA 5,” Rockstar Games has still not decided to release a definitive date for when the game is expected to be released. From various clues that have been discovered regarding a possible release date for “GTA 5,” many fans are beginning to believe that this title will be released sometime in March 2013.
Speaking of the release date for “GTA 5,” today video game analyst Michael Pachter stated that he believes that this title will be released in May. As for when Rockstar Games will officially reveal the release date for this title, he insists that this announcement will be made as a part of Take-Two fiscal 2013 Q3 results, which is scheduled to take place on Feb. 5.
Rockstar Games previously announced that they would be revealing the official cover art for “GTA 5” in January. With this being said, this announcement has to come either today or tomorrow. Rockstar could very well surprise us with a release date for “GTA 5” along with the reveal of this cover art.
