Rockstar Games, the publisher of the upcoming “GTA 5,” has posted an update in regards to the development of the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 video game. According to a report by Prima Games on Aug. 26, the company confirmed that the fifth main “Grand Theft Auto” title has “officially gone gold.” As a result of the completion of development, Rockstar Games is now preparing to release the product on time.
The company also took some time to address the spoilers that have been recently leaked. A representative declared that they are “deeply disappointed” in the situation, stating that certain Playstation 3 players were able to access the files that were made available on the European Playstation Store. Consequently, spoilers were posted online. Finally, the representative also mentioned that they “couldn't be more excited to finally share” the video game in a proper manner at launch.
“GTA 5” was available momentarily on the European Playstation Store, allowing players to pre-load the open-world action-adventure title several weeks before the launch date. Sony Computer Entertainment ended up having to remove the files after several users managed to mine the data to discover some spoilers and yet-to-be announced details.
“GTA 5” is on track to release for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles on Sept. 17. You can find some several screenshots of the video game in the slideshow on the top left-hand side of this article. You can pre-order the product from Amazon in the following link: “GTA 5”
