Leslie Benzies has provided an explanation as to how his studio is planning to update the “Grand Theft Auto Online” mode in the upcoming Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 video game, “GTA 5.” According to a report by Gaming Bolt on Aug. 18, the president at Rockstar North revealed two separate strategies as to how the development team will be adding new content.
Leslie Benzies first stated that he and his staff “already have plans for what the next world holds in terms of missions, new content, clothes, apartments, for the next while.” The first wave will be available on Oct. 1 in which Rockstar North will be releasing a patch to unlock the online multiplayer mode.
The development team will also be tracking the behavior of players in “Grand Theft Auto Online.” They will be able to see how long people are participating in death matches, racing and other modes. As a result, future contents can be better tailored for the online multiplayer portion of “GTA 5.”
In addition to the new contents that will be provided by the developer, players can also create their own custom missions in “Grand Theft Auto Online.” “GTA 5” is set to come out in North America and other regions around the world on Sept. 17.
