Following the announcement of the delay the much-anticipated “GTA 5,” many fans of this title began speculating that this delay may contribute to some other conclusion that is not directly related to previous plans for “GTA 5.” In response to this, there have been a large number of rumors that have been circulating about various theories behind why this title was really delayed.
As brought to our attention by VG247 yesterday, Rockstar Games has responded to the escalated amount of conspiracy theories about other reasons for the delay. “Unfortunately sometimes such delays are necessary in all forms of entertainment, and especially in the case of a game experience as massive and complex as GTAV. However this does not give you free reign to be abusive in comments.”
“Also: To those of you saying or seeing various conspiracy theories about there being some other ulterior motive for this delay, rest assured that they’re all nonsense – literally the only reason we’ve delayed the release is because we want the game to be as good as it needs to be.”
Some of these rumors include the possibility that Rockstar Games plans to release “GTA 5” on next generation systems, this being the Xbox 720 and PS4. There is absolutely no evidence that points to this title been released on next-generation systems, as fans should follow the suggestion that Rockstar has delivered above. Unless information related to “GTA 5” is delivered by Rockstar Games, fans should not take anything for fact.
