Update: The latest GTA Online title update has now gone live for Xbox 360.
Rockstar Games previously stated that the development team was working with Microsoft to release the newest version of the game as soon as possible. A title update usually goes through a certification testing procedure before it can be made available for download for the general public. The same patch came out for the Playstation 3 version of “GTA 5” on Oct. 4.
Players will be able to download the 1.02 title update if they are signed into the Xbox Live service. The size of the file is 59 MB, which is the same as the 1.01 patch on the Xbox 360. The Playstation 3 version of the same file weighed in at 39 MB.
The patch addresses several issues from the “Grand Theft Auto Online” mode, fixing a few connection errors and progress-hindering glitches. You can check out the full change log in the following link: “Grand Theft Auto Online” 1.02 patch fixes and new system freeze errors revealed.
Rockstar Games is the company that handled the publishing and distributing aspects of “GTA 5,” which officially launched on Sept. 17 in North America.
