Gruul Ragebeast is one of the newest "Magic: The Gathering" cards spoiled today Jan. 17, 2013 from Wizards of the Coast's upcoming expert expansion set "Gatecrash." Revealed in a video by by Alex Day, Gruul Ragebeast provides a powerful effect for mid-range and ramp based creature strategies.

Whenever Gruul Ragebeast or another creature enters the battlefield under your control, that creature fights target creature an opponent controls.

One way to abuse Gruul Ragebeast is with deathtouch creatures, such as the ones created by Garruk, the Veil Cursed or paired with Nightshade Peddler.

Gruul Ragebeast provides fantastic late game finishing power to a Domri Rade deck, and there's a lot of large creatures like Vorapede, Thragtusk, and Wolfir Silverheart for it to throw into fights with your opponent.

It really doesn't matter what creature enters the battlefield as long as it's bigger than your opponent's. Using enchantments like Collective Blessing can ensure you always have the largest threat.

Gruul Ragebeast will be a fun addition to any Commander deck, because many of the decks in the format revolves around large creatures.

How will you use Gruul Ragebeast?
