The Duchess of Cambridge, accompanied by her husband Prince William, arrived in Scotland for series of royal engagements, and one of the stops along the way was a homeless shelter in Glasgow.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, known in Scotland as the Earl and Countess of Strathearn, were on hand to launch sports projects as part of their official royal duties, The Mirror reported on April 4. The Duchess, who is six months pregnant, looked radiant in a wool ensemble, showing off her growing royal baby bump.
While visiting the a center for the homeless, Kate told the project manager that she and William have a short name of names for both a boy and a girl, and that her friends text her suggestions for names, making the couple's choice of names for the royal baby more difficult.
When asked about her due date, the Duchess said that the baby is due around mid-July, and added, “but apparently babies have their own agenda.”
In photos Kate can be seen resting her hand on the royal baby bump, showing that her maternal instincts have already kicked in. Kate told residents of the homeless shelter that she has been trying to learn how to knit before the baby arrives. The Duchess of Cambridge, Countess of Strathearn, said that she will begin a maternity leave from royal duties sometime in June.
