Rainbow corn is a great decoration to use in the fall during Halloween and Thanksgiving. It is also called indian corn or colored corn but what ever the name they are all pretty cobs that have bright multicolored kernels. Rainbow corn is best for decoration since the flavor is somewhat dull and tasteless compared to other types of corn.
St. Paul, Minneosta has short growing seasons so growing rainbow corn may be a challenge since it needs about 110 days for a seasons growth. Even though the season is short you can still grow a good crop of corn in the area because rainbow corn can tollerate cold weather better then other types of corn.
