According to the Alberta Junior Hockey League website, the Olds Grizzlys were eliminated from the 2014 Alberta Junior Hockey League playoffs on Tuesday night.

That is because the Grizzlys lost in game four of the Alberta Junior Hockey League South Division semifinal series by a score of 6-3 to the Brooks Bandits in Olds (an hour north of Calgary) and lost the series 4-0.

Import Anthony Petruzzelli of Federal Way, Washington was excellent offensively, as he notched two goals and two assists for four points. Austin Plevy, Patrick Lee and Maddison Smiley also had a multi-point game with two points each.

The Bandits will now play the winner of the Canmore Eagles and Drumheller Dragons in the Alberta Junior Hockey League South Division final. On Tuesday night, the Dragons defeated the Eagles 6-5 on an overtime winner by Mitchell Cook of Kelowna, British Columbia. Drumheller leads the series 3-1 with game five slated for Friday.

In the north division semifinal, Fort McMurray defeated Lloydminster 4-3 to take a 3-1 series lead.
