'Grimm' returns to NBC March 8; Wesen info guide (Video)

As any fan of "Grimm" can tell you, it's tough waiting for your favorite supernatural television show to return from a long winter hiatus. With still a full two months to go before Nick Burkhardt, Monroe, Captain Renard and the rest of the characters of "Grimm" return to the small screen, there isn't a better time to brush up on all the Wesen Nick has dealt with in the past. From the first episode that introduced Nick Burkhardt as the descendant of the Grimms on Oct. 28, 2011 to the most recently aired episode of season two in which former Hexenbiest Adalind Schade returned to Portland to seek her revenge against Nick, there has been a steady stream of both ferocious and docile creatures that Nick has encountered.

Nick has befriended a Blutbad (wolf-like creature) named Monroe and has also added Rosalee Calvert to his list of Wesen friends. Rosalee is a fox-like creature known as a Fuchsbau. In addition to befriending these two special people, Nick has also had to defend himself against the likes of the Jagerbars, a Seigbarste, Mauzhertz, Geiers, a Schakal and more.
