The long hiatus of NBC's "Grimm" is nearly over. Since Nov. 16, fans of the weekly supernatural drama have been waiting for the series to return with the rest of the episodes in the second season. On Fri., March 8, that wait will be over when characters Nick Burkhardt and Sean Renard confront one another in the "Face Off" episode. Here is the official synopsis of the thirteenth episode of the season from NBC.
After Nick learns about Juliette and Captain Renard, he must deal with the consequences. Things get even more complicated when Nick is called to investigate his own crime. Meanwhile, the search for the key intensifies as Captain Renard finds Nick’s trailer and makes a surprising alliance. With Rosalee’s help, Monroe informs Nick that they might be able to stop what’s going on with Renard and Juliette before it goes too far. Elsewhere, Wu responds to a bizarre shooting at Nick and Juliette’s house.
The long winter hiatus of "Grimm" began with the airing of "Season of the Hexenbiest." In this episode Adalind Schade returned from Europe and her liaison with Eric Renard, the brother of Sean Renard. Adalind's goals were to secure the key the royals have been searching for (currently in Nick's possession) and cause even more trouble for Nick and Juliette.
She seems to have succeeded on one front, at least. Nick learned of the relationship between his police captain, Renard, and Juliette, Juliette and Renard sought out Monroe's help for their attraction to one another and Nick moved in with Monroe after Juliette confessed she had feelings for another man.
Now as the second season of the fairy tale-inspired series returns, Nick and Renard will come face to face in a battle that is about more than just how they feel about Juliette. Will Nick learn that Captain Sean Renard is really half Royal and half Hexenbiest? Who will win Juliette's heart? What other secrets are waiting to be revealed? Fans will be glued to their seats on Fri., March 8 at 9 p.m. to learn the answers to these questions and more.
