Greyson Chance signed by Ellen DeGeneres (video)

12-year old Youtube star Greyson Chance is definitely going to get his chance in the spotlight. Just two weeks after posting a video online of him singing Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi," Ellen DeGeneres has announced through her talk show that he is the first artist signed to her new "Eleven Eleven" record label -- which of course may have come about thanks to her time on "American Idol."

Greyson was also given both a $10,000 prize and a new Yamaha piano from the comedian, but we all know the record deal is the real prize. Is Greyson the next Justin Bieber or Susan Boyle? Really it will all come down to how well his music is managed and if he has some sustainability. As of right now, it certainly seems like the support is there online.

Are you surprised that Greyson Chance already has a record deal? Let me know your thoughts with a comment and check out the video below.

I'm not surprise, he has a really good voice. Good luck Greyson I hope you're more famous than Justin Bieber.

I heard this kid sing and was impressed. This isn't my type of music but he is a talented kid. I think he is better than Beiber. I just hope he is still good after his voice changes.
