Greyson Chance isn't signed with Interscope anymore. The artist and record label have parted ways and the confirmation of the moment came on Thursday with the artist announcing he was appreciative for the help from the record label and looking ahead to the future.
“So the word is out that myself and Interscope have parted ways,” tweeted Greyson Chance from his official Twitter account on Thursday. “It was a positive parting, for both of us, and I will always remember them as my first home and my first record label. I will miss my friends at IGA, but I think this is a positive thing for my artist career and for the future.”
While the star didn’t comment on what direction was next for his career, it’s obvious he is still focused on making music and getting the tunes to the fans. A split from a record label obviously isn’t a pleasant moment for any artist, but Greyson Chance has talent and drive so the star only needs to chart his path and keep up his focus on supplying great music to the fans.
