"Grey's Anatomy" is known for its complicated romances on ABC, and a new romance may be on the horizon for Arizona. On Wednesday, Oct. 23, The Hollywood Reporter shared a new interview with Tessa Ferrer where she talks about the potential new romance for her character with Arizona Robbins.
Arizona is on the outs with her wife, and Leah allowed the doctor to lean on her when she was drunk. Now that Arizona has been kicked out of her apartment and called Leah pretty, the door has been opened for a romance between the two. However, Arizona might not be ready to move on from Callie just yet. For now, Leah's crush might be one-sided. Ferrer teased the following:
It will be exciting to see how that plays out and what she says and what she doesn't tell her fellow interns. We'll see if she can keep her crush a secret or not. This is a really vulnerable time for Leah and hopefully Arizona will be able to take care of her in the process. And hopefully Leah will be able to step up to the plate and take care of herself and say what she needs.
Ferrer did admit that Ferrer 'falls fast' after just a bit of attention. Arizona is still dealing with the cheating aftermath with Callie. Fans are waiting for the pair to get back together, and that might not happen if Arizona starts to see Leah romantically. An attending dating an intern is not new on this series, but if this relationship develops, it would have a definite impact on the series.
"Grey's Anatomy" will continue to air on ABC on Thursday nights.
