"Grey's Anatomy" will return to Channel 15 in Tempe with a new episode tonight. On Wednesday, Jan. 16, TV Fanatic shared four more sneak peeks for the episode. These new sneak peeks focus on different characters. The first focuses in on Meredith and Derek as they start their day. The second shows Derek talking to Callie about his hand. Next, Jackson has a disagreement with Arizona over the treatment of one of Mark's patients. The last sneak peek shows a moment shared between Meredith and Richard as he grieves the death of Adele.
As for Derek's hand, he will get back into the operating room, but the focus won't be on miraculous recovery. Shonda Rhimes said the following in a recent interview, according to Hypable:
"The way the show takes a turn, it’s not in the direction you think it’s going to go. Derek getting back into surgery, while being very important, really turns out to be — I don’t want to say minimized — but it gets overshadowed in the face of something else."
The hospital will have to deal with a $75 million lawsuit result for the survivor, and this could be what overshadows the recovery of Derek's hand. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
