As "Grey's Anatomy" season 9 continues, the doctors are going to have to continue to adapt to changes with the new management, and that will be true in episode 18, "Idle Hands," for which ABC released photos on Thursday, Feb. 28.
In this "Grey's Anatomy" episode, the doctors realize that owning a hospital means a whole other set of problems and responsibilities as the new management makes positive changes. Meanwhile, in the doctors' personal lives, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) continues to worry about her unborn baby, Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) keep working on getting their spark back, and Alex (Justin Chambers) gives Jo's (Camilla Luddington) boyfriend "a run for his money." Given how Alex reacted when he saw Jo with the other doctor, what else would you expect? What's he going to be up to? Will this be what leads to Alex and Jo getting together?
The "Idle Hands" photos, which you can check out in the slideshow at the top of this article, show that there's going to be a lot of smiling going on at Seattle Grace. Things are looking up at the hospital without the threat of Pegasus buying them out for parts. A photo also shows Meredith reading about neonatal care while Derek (Patrick Dempsey) smiles next to her in bed; will he be reassuring her that everything is fine? Finally, a few photos, including one behind-the-scenes image, offer a look at Annette O'Toole guest starring as a patient with a group of children around her hospital bed.
