On Feb. 14, a preview and set of promotional photos were released by ABC for "Grey's Anatomy" season 9, episode 16, "This is Why We Fight." Spoiler alert: if you don't want to know what’s coming up on the show, stop reading now!
The preview (seen below) shows that the doctors of Seattle Grace are doing everything in their power to save the hospital.
Alex thinks the hospital is falling apart, and he's right! The interns are afraid that they won't have jobs for much longer and Meredith seems to agree. When Derek states, "No one is going to lose their jobs," Meredith answers, "Everybody is!" Will they be able to pull off something of this magnitude?
The end of the preview finds Owen shouting, "You lied to me!" Cristina says, "It's over." What is she referring to – the plan to save the hospital or their relationship?
The official synopsis for this episode reads,
"This Is Why We Fight" – As word of Seattle Grace's financial trouble spreads, Catherine encourages Jackson to move to Boston, and the interns fear they might lose their jobs. Meanwhile, the doctors meet with a potential investor in a last-ditch effort to save the hospital, and Alex impresses Jo while caring for a patient, on "Grey’s Anatomy," THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 21 (9:00-10:02 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
