The lawsuit continues in "Grey's Anatomy" season 9 episodes, and one such episode is 11, "The End Is the Beginning Is the End," for which ABC released promotional photos on Tuesday, Jan. 8.
In this upcoming "Grey's Anatomy" episode, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), Derek (Patrick Dempsey), Cristina (Sandra Oh), and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) receive big news about the plane crash lawsuit. Is that because Cristina and Owen (Kevin McKidd) are going to go through with the divorce, even though things could be looking up for their relationship? Meanwhile, it has already been revealed that Adele (Loretta Devine) is dying, so could her death be the reason why Richard (James Pickens Jr.) is going to be avoiding Catherine's (Debbie Allen) romantic advances in "The End Is the Beginning Is the End"? Finally, Jackson (Jesse Williams) is going to take on one of Mark's (Eric Dane) old patients, and Derek is going to begin recovery on his hand after he had the surgery in "Run, Baby, Run."
The new "Grey's" photos, which you can see in the slideshow at the top of this article, offer a look at many of the doctors in a good mood, and after the tragedies they have suffered, they deserve that happiness. But what has them all smiling? We can at least assume that recovery going well for Derek—and Meredith's pregnancy progressing well—would put the couple in a good mood.
