On Saturday, April 5 TVLine reported that actress Kelly McCreary will be guest starring on an upcoming episode of "Grey's Anatomy," which is currently airing its tenth season. She is expected to appear in one episode, which is scheduled to air on May 8.
McCreary is most known for the role of Tyra Dupre on the television drama "Emily Owens M.D." and as Clare Tucker in two episodes of the ABC series "Scandal." She also played Yvonne on the drama "White Collar" and has two films in post-production.
The actress will play a surgeon who goes to the bar and has a date with one of the male doctors from Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. The episode will be the final episode before the season ten finale. "Grey's Anatomy" has yet to be renewed for an eleventh season, and only has six episodes left in the tenth season which will wrap up before the end of May.
McCreary is the latest guest star to appear on the show this season, after actor Isaiah Washington will be returning for one episode after exiting the series in season three. Main cast members Gaius Charles and Tessa Ferrer will not be returning for the eleventh season and will have their story lines wrapped up in season ten with possible guest spots in the future.
