In “Grey’s Anatomy” casting news, it looks like 2 more doctors will be departing at the end of season 10. In addition to Dr. Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh), Buddy TV reported on March 25 that doctors Leah Murphy and Shane Ross, Tessa Ferrer and Gaius Charles respectively will also be leaving.

The pair had become series regulars this season after joining the staff of Grey-Sloane Memorial Hospital in season 9. Both had big storylines this season as each had affairs with other doctors in the series. Murphy had a fling with Dr. Arizona Robbins while she was separated from Dr. Callie Torres. She was also the one who filed the grievance against the hospital for sexual harassment.

Ross hooked up with Yang while serving as her intern. He also had a breakdown as a result over the guilt he felt regarding his role in fellow intern, Heather Brooks’ death.

When season 9 began, 5 interns were introduced. With the departure of Charles and Ferrer, only 2 remain - Jerrika Hinton's Stephanie Edwards and Camilla Luddington's Jo Wilson.

“Grey’s Anatomy” has not officially been renewed for an 11th season but it seems probable that it will be given headliners Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey signed 2-year contracts recently. The fate of other cast members has not been revealed yet.
