"Grey's Anatomy" and "Scandal" are both currently airing on Channel 15 in Tempe. On Monday, Jan. 28, TV Line shared the latest comments made by Shonda Rhimes about "Grey's Anatomy." Shonda Rhimes is the woman behind both of these ABC series, and there is more drama to come in the episodes ahead. Rhimes teased more about what is coming up for Meredith and Derek on the second half of "Grey's Anatomy" season nine. She said the following, according to TV Line:
"Derek’s hand is better, but I think he feels an extreme sense of responsibility for what’s happening with the hospital. They’re going to be playing a larger part in the future of the hospital as well and trying to help fix it if they can. But mostly, I feel like you’ve been watching Meredith evolve as a leader and a doctor and a surgeon. And that’s going to continue. Portraying them as a grown-up couple has been very fun for us. It’s been nice to see."
As for "Scandal" on ABC, there is a lot more drama to come there too. Fitz did ask his wife for a divorce, and Olivia did receive a proposal from someone else. Olivia will find out about the divorce, but Rhimes teased that she will have issues of her own to deal with. Fitz will learn about the election rigging as well.
Rhimes did reveal that episode 2.14 will pick up the action ten months after the events of episode 2.13. That episode was initially set as a season finale before ABC picked up the back nine. Scott Foley will figure heavily in the back nine episodes of season two for this series, according to Rhimes.
Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
