Gretchen Rossi claims 'RHOOC' production staff wanted her back

Viewers may have had the chance to see Gretchen Rossi on the latest season of "The Real Housewives of Orange County." Unfortunately for her fans, she decided to not come back to the show. In a Facebook message posted on Friday, April 18, Gretchen claims that the show's production staff asked her to come back to film with the other housewives two months ago but that she declined.

Gretchen wrote a lengthy Facebook message to address Tamra Barney's recent claim that she and her fiance Slade Smiley have contacted several reporters in order to comment on her child custody battle with her ex-husband. Tamra posted on Facebook that three reporters have called her to tell her that Gretchen and Slade contacted them to provide comments on her custody battle. Tamra wrote that the two would do anything to get themselves back in the press and that Gretchen is a "nobody" that was fired from the show. Interestingly enough, Tamra's Facebook post has since been deleted.

Gretchen wrote that Tamra is lying. She said that she and Slade never contacted reporters and that while her PR company has received tons of requests for comment, she and Slade have not spoken out about her. Gretchen also addressed Tamra's statement that is a nobody who is desperate to get back in the press. She wrote that she and Slade get plenty of press on their own and pointed out that the show's production staff asked her to consider coming back to film with the housewives two months ago but that she declined.

If Gretchen Rossi really was asked to film two months ago and agreed, she would have made it into the current season of "The Real Housewives of Orange County." She may have even joined Tamra Barney and the other housewives, Vicki Gunvalson, Heather Dubrow, Shannon Beador, Lizzie Rovsek, and Danielle Gregorio, on their group trip to Bali, which they took in late February. However, while she won't be on "The Real Housewives of Orange County," fans will still see her on TV as she and Slade stars in WE tv's "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars," which premieres Friday, May 30.
