Gretchen Rossi has no fears about angering Tamra Barney. Gretchen, who used to star on "The Real Housewives of Orange County" with Tamra, has come out with a statement that pretty much agrees that she's a horrible mother, just as her ex-husband claims in his bid for full custody of their three children.
An In Touch Weekly magazine article posted on Wednesday, April 23, quotes Gretchen as saying that in her opinion, "Tamra is so busy destroying people’s lives, she doesn’t have time to take care of her children." Gretchen also prefaced her comment by saying that she believes in karma. Obviously, Gretchen does not feel bad at all for what Tamra is going through and even believes that it's well-deserved for what she has done to her and others in the past.
Only a few days prior, Gretchen angrily denied Tamra's claim that she and her fiance Slade Smiley were contacting reporters trying to comment about her child custody battle with Simon. She maintained that she and Slade have not talked about her since they left the show. However, Gretchen noticeably did not promise Tamra that she wouldn't later on talk about her family drama when asked by the press about it. Obviously, Gretchen doesn't care if her later talking to In Touch Weekly seems to make Tamra's claim more believable.
Gretchen's back-and-forth with Tamra may surprise those who have yet to finish watching season eight of the show, as the two women seemed to finally let bygones be bygones and become real friends in the beginning and middle of the season. By the end of the season and at the reunion however, the two women were back to feuding.
While Gretchen Rossi has chosen to slam Tamra Barney, her "The Real Housewives of Orange County" co-star Heather Dubrow has come out in her defense. Heather tweeted that despite what her ex says, Tamra is an "amazing" mother and that what her ex is doing is "despicable."
