Fox's Greta Van Susteren asked Sarah Palin straight out - "Do you have breast implants?". Sarah answered, yes, she sure did but first - Greta knew Palin's answer was going to be so hot that first she released this teaser on Greta's Wire:

Greta led with a few scathing comments for Upcoming Newsweek cover featuring Palin, women and the religious right, complete with a shining halo. Palin did respond to that cover with a strong inference that Newsweek was just like the rest of mainstream media, out to get anyone who didn't boost Obama's agenda.
There were a few words about energy and then Greta popped the big one about the breast implants, explaining that she was asking because it was the viral internet topic. Does Sarah or doesn't she?
Greta also mentioned that all of the disparaging articles about Clinton and Sarah begged the question - Where are the feminists?
Unfortunately, the only feminist who might speak out against this flagrant lack of feminine support for Clinton and Hillary would be Camille Paglia - and she's on hiatus writing a book. In the past Paglia hasn't been at all shy about targeting feminists saying about Palin and feminism

This woman turned out to be a tough, scrappy fighter with a mischievous sense of humor. Conservative though she may be, I felt that Palin represented an explosion of a brand new style of muscular American feminism.

This blog posting is not about Palin but about women. The media has been doing this kind of stuff to successful trail blazing women like Secretary of State Clinton for years. When will other women - especially journalists - have the courage to stand up for women who are being treated in a manner that is wrong? It doesn't make it right just because you don't agree with Palin (or Clinton or whoever.)
Feminism is about giving women equal opportunity for success...and eliminating the shackles of being an object. Feminism should not be about 'picking sides.' If you want your daughter, or wife, or mother, or sister to have an equal opportunity, you have to quit laughing or gossiping when it is someone with whom you do not agree...and you need to speak up.

I read that article and would NOT be surprised if the current administration BELIEVED in such hocus pocus!
There are probably hundreds(maybe more than a thousand) very small tornadoes that touch down in the USA every year, but are not recorded because they do no damage. However, since a mobile home flips over so easily in even the weakest tornado, trailers probably act as "mini tornado" detectors. This makes it seem like tornadoes are attracted to mobile homes, but that is because trailers are the only things that reveal the presence of what would otherwise be an unrecorded event.

You people (commenters) have nothing better to do? Of all the things to ask Sarah Palin, the big question on people's minds is whether or not she has breast implants? Does it matter? Her male fans love her for her looks, her female fans for... well, I still can't figure that out. It's not her brains, not her common sense, not her speaking voice or her ability to speak, and it's certainly not the Christian values of respect and loving thy neighbor that she shows...
I do think Greta and other supposed press members could start asking her some tougher questions, something about her knowledge and experience, and not just feed her openings to start mocking the president or whining about what a victim she is.

Question one is regarding Sarah's plea for Obama to call her for advice on the oil spill, as well as her sneering at him to do his job regarding the Arizona illegal immigration problem.
She's good at criticism, but frankly, anyone can do that. It's very easy to be an armchair (or in this case, a podium/newsdesk) president. If she wants intelligent skeptics like me to take her seriously, she's going to have to show me she has more to offer than just negative talk.
Katie, those are great questions for anyone running for president or anyone who IS president. I'd sure like to see Obama take questions and answer them - specifically.

As far as Sarah, in the event that she runs for president - that's the time to pin her down. For now, she is serving the conservative cause well as a Conservative Cultural Heroine.

Obama quite frequently speaks to the press about things he does not want to answer and they do ask him a lot about what he is doing about the oil spill as well as other things. Its the answers he gives that his opposition doesn't like plus the fact that he uses big words and doesn't get emotional.
What, exactly should he doing? He can't declare the area a disaster to give them federal funds because that would let BP off the hook. He can't demand they work faster - how would he enforce that? The US government doesn't have the resources - monetary, physical (boats) or bureaucratic to deal with something this country has never seen before. All the howling from the right accomplishes nothing - Obama is damned no matter what. Any president in his place would be.
I have an open mind about Romney. I'm not crazy about someone who is a born-again anything, but he is committed to his elected office, has political leadership experience, and is not afraid to buck his party.
Why should Obama (or anyone, for that matter) consult Palin about oil drilling, oil spilling, or anything to do with oil? Because she was an oil commissioner in Alaska for one whole year? Because she weighed in on the financial settlement of the Exxon Valdez spill (she said the amount of money was a disgrace - she was governor at the time she made the statement - she has since taken credit for this same settlement, which is a verifiable lie)? Because she started the negotiations for a big oil pipeline when she was governor (a project still in negotiations, and at least ten years from becoming a reality)? Because she diverted big oil money out of the pockets of corrupt politicians into the hands of every single Alaskan born citizen (not taxpayers, not families, but every single citizen... ever wonder why she made sure Trig was born in AK? Why she wants to drill more in AK? Think $$$$...)?
