Gresham Police are seeking the public's help in the hope of identifying a man who may have tried to lure two different girls on three occasions. The latest incident occurred on May 15 at about noon near Alpha High School, 876 NE 8th St., Gresham. The prior incident was reported to Gresham Police on May 9, and involved a girl who attends Gresham High School. Police are concerned that both incidents could involve the same suspect.

On May 15, 2014 at about noon, a 16 year-old girl was walking near Alpha High School, where she attends, when she reported that a black male grabbed her arm and told her to "go with him." She broke away and ran into the school. He was last seen in an unknown direction on foot in the area of the school. He is described as a black male in his 40's, about six feet tall wearing a black jacket and pants and carrying a backpack.

In the previous incident, a 16 year-old girl, who attends Gresham High School, reported that she was walking in front of Cheap Charlie's, 79 N.E. Roberts, on May 8 when a black male tried to convince her that they knew each other and asked her to get into his car. She said "no!" and ran off. When she reported this she also reported that this same person tried to get her into his car about two to four months prior, at the same location. She described the suspect as a black male, five-foot six-inches to six-feet tall, weighing about 200 pounds with a medium build. She said he was in his late 30's to early 40's, had a goatee, glasses and dirty or decayed teeth. She also described the whites of his eyes as yellowish. He was wearing a red, white and black baseball cap. She described his vehicle as a tan or gold mid-2000 car that looked like a Buick or something similar. She said there were items in the back window that were green or blue in color.
