If you are looking for something to do with your children during this warm winter weather, look no farther than the Greenville Zoo. There is something for everyone at this small, but fun animal park! The park is open 7 days a week except for 3 holidays and an admission fee is charged. Hours and prices can be found at the zoo website.
Baby Bob, a Borean orangutan just celebrated his 6th birthday with gifts and special treats. During his party, he picked the New York Giants as the Superbowl champs.
Upcoming events include Party for the Planet on April 4 and Endangered Species Day on May 18. Admission to these (and many other) events are free with your admission into the zoo. There is a gift shop, food vendors and a mini-playground in the zoo along with lots of places to sit and rest or just watch the animals play.
After you visit the zoo, spend some time at ajoining Cleveland park. There is an awesome playground, fields for ballgames or picnics and many walking trails.
You do not need to travel far to find exotic animals...just head on into Greenville for a wild time!
