The holidays for most of us means a time to share in the love of friends and family. Unfortunately it also appears to be a time when some of the most egregious crimes are committed. Greenville, SC has just become home to one such crime recently.
Reports from the associated press say that Harvinder Singh was given a 30 year sentence Tuesday, after admitting to killing his 32 year old spouse Shivani Boparai after an argument ensued in 2009.
The victim, according to the reports released in the autopsy suffered multiple knife wounds to the head and body. The couple's 6 year old child was in the home during the attack by his father. The victim's child was then left alone in the home with the body.
Arrests were made later that day outside of the local Walmart where police encountered Singh in a inside out t-shirt soaked in the victims blood.
