When you remember Lynyrd Skynyrd you also have to think of 38 Special. They were southern rock at its finest. “Hold on Loosely” and “Rockin’ into the Night” were power house love songs. And you can’t forget about those “Wild Eyed Southern Boys”, they were the reason we loved this type of music to begin with. 38 Special was tradition.

So what more do you want now? How about Lynyrd Skynyrd and 38 Special touring together? Yes, it has happened. It is the year 2010 and one of the best concert tours of the summer, perhaps the year is taking place across this nation. Two great bands on the same stage rocking the night away with great songs like “Tuesdays Gone”, “The Ballad of Curtis Loew”, “The Needle and The Spoon”, “They Call Me the Breeze” and of course “Freebird” and “Sweet Home Alabama”. Then you have the greats from 38 Special “Caught up in You”, “Back Where You Belong”, “Stone Cold Believer”, and “Fantasy Girl”.

Now if that seems like to much to take lets add one more classic rocker: Bret Michaels. Yes the one and only Poison front man. Survivor of diabetes, life threatening health issues and the latest winner of Celebrity Apprentice – That Bret Michaels, like there is another Bret. He performs with Lynyrd Skynyrd and it is phenomenal. Singing their hearts out, all of them, performing for the fans the way rock n roll should be performed. There ain’t nothing like it!
