Russell Seese, 27, of Greentown, Pa. was sentenced on Friday to a prison term at the Pike County Correctional Facility ranging from 48 hours to 12 months and fined $500. for animal cruelty reported wnep.com.
The horrifying experience for Seese's Labrador retriever mix, Lexi, began on Feb.28 when Seese duct taped the dog's front and back legs together and followed up with duct taping the dog's muzzle. He then trapped the dog in a filthy chicken coop and left her there with no food or water.
The Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty arrived at Seese's home on Mar. 1 where he was arrested and charged with two counts of animal cruelty.
Lexi suffered traumatic injuries although Seese never provided veterinarian treatment.
The good news is that Lexi has since recovered.
Let's hope this man stays in prison for the maximum time.
